Day 1:

Hanoi – Tam Coc (Dinner included)

In the morning, around 8am, a private vehicle from Le Clos du Fil picks you up in Hanoi for a two-hour transfer to Ninh Binh. You will be accompanied by a French / English guide upon your request.
Before arriving to Le Clos du Fil, you will visit one of the following sites of your choice:
Van Long Nature Reserve, the largest submerged conservation area in the Northern Delta with thousands of animals, plants, and aquatic organisms. Traditional sampan ride of approximately 1.5 hours amidst the karst rocks rising from the flooded field.
The Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex resembling Halong Bay, with a traditional 3-hour traditional sampan ride.
Arrival at Le Clos du Fil in the late afternoon. Welcome drink and check-in.
Free time. Several activities are possible: rest by the pool; walk or cycle around the valley where our ecolodge is located, enjoy the view of rice fields at sunset; visit the Jade cave 1 km away from Le Clos du Fil ; discovery of Vietnamese culture through cooking lessons, traditional embroidery (an additional price will be applied to the experiential activities) etc.
Dinner and overnight stay at Le Clos du Fil .

Day 2:

Tam Coc – Hanoi (Breakfast included)

Breakfast, then bike ride to Tam Coc to enjoy a boat ride on the Ngo Dong river which zigzags across limestone peaks.
Afterwards, visit the Thai Vi temple (1km from Tam Coc), one of the oldest in Vietnam. This temple is located in the middle of rice fields and limestone peaks, in a calm and serene atmosphere. It has an original stone architecture obeying the principles of eastern geomancy.
Return to the ecolodge around noon. Check-out and free time for lunch.
In the early afternoon, take the road back to Hanoi.
